Singapore and Movies
Well, I’m back. I got home last May 17, 2002. I haven’t written anything since then because we had our internet line cut off so I had to find another way to get a connection. I probably won’t be blogging frequently because I’m still trying to find another internet provider. Just give me a month or so.
Anyway my stay in Singapore was great. I didn’t take note of everything I did there. But it’s a great country that’s what I’m sure of. I watched ‘Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones’ there in Shaw Center and it was awesome – the effects I mean. Totally excellent. I can never get over what Yoda did. I never expected him to be that good with his lightsabre. Also, I can’t get over the fact that Anakin Skywalker lost his hand! I mean, Padmè Amidala didn’t even freak out when she saw him. I know I would’ve *shivers.
Oh well, I saw it twice in the movie theatre. Once in Singapore on the day it was released and once here in the Philippines with my cousins. Boy, I am never going to take my cousin Arthur in the movie houses again. He never kept his mouth shut the whole time we were watching Star Wars. He was like this commentary guy on ESPN who never misses anything and comments about what the hell is going on in the movie. Everybody around us, I presumed, were giving us death glares. I just know it. Ok, I’ve blabbed too much.
